The owners share over 150 years of experience in the industry. Altrus staff and owners are strong advocates for home and community based services, Medicaid waivers, and Olmstead initiatives.
Since 1989, the mission of Altrus, Inc. has been to provide alternatives to institutions of individuals with disabilities. The values of Altrus are that all individuals deserve to be treated with respect and dignity and should have the freedom to choose where and how they receive services in the community. For over 21 years, we have provided community based services to individuals throughout Georgia of every demographic population. Every day, our staff are working to provide individuals with good wholesome community placements and thereby prevent institutional placement.

Altrus provides 24-hour supervision, medically related personal care, nursing supervision, and health-related support services in a state-licensed personal care home that provides individuals with a friendly residential setting.
